During the COVID Pandemic we have had to change the way we work to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.
We would like to say a big thank you to all of our patients for bearing with us and adapting to the changes we have put in place.
The pandemic has lessened, but is not over yet. We wanted to update you on what our current processes are.
- To ensure the continued safety of both staff and patients all of our sites are closed to walk in patients, apart from those with pre-booked appointments. All patients within our buildings are triaged before they are allowed to enter.
- All of our GP appointments are initially for telephone triage. You will receive a telephone call from a GP to discuss your issue. If the GP feels that they need to see you, you will be offered an appointment to see them face to face.
- All of our Receptionists answer calls for all sites. This has meant we have been able to keep our phone lines open during the pandemic.
- Our Nurses are working from one site – Four Oaks Medical Centre and you will be asked to attend there for any relevant appointments. We are doing this to keep our well patients separate from any unwell patients that need to see a GP.
